hi all from Rio !!

with its lush peaks, breathtaking beaches and urban ambience, the ´cidade maravilhosa´ occupies one of the most spectacular settings on the planet !! Cariocas are sensual and free-spirited with a love for samba and celebration !! Met there with my mates Chau and Javitron and stayed at a swankey hotel in Ipanema !! The beach attracts a broad range of people, mixing over games of volleyball and football beneath tropical rays. The only thing is that it´s not always sunny in Rio !!
Very cool to meet up with Javi and Chau, the first day we just walked around the beaches chilling out !! The next day it was raining so we left for the imperial city of Petropolis (1st emperor of Brazil used to live there. We visited the ´museu imperial´ and walked around that beautiful town). After there we came back to Rio and checked the city centre + went up Pao de Açúcar !! Awesome views !! From there Rio is undoubtedly the most beautiful city in the world !! Since Javi and Chau wanted to go to a beach, we took a bus to the beautiful Buzios and thanks to the economies of scales (and our sugar mama) we managed to stay in a swankey pousada !! We went swimming in gorgeous beaches catching some sun !! We also went scubadiving, but the sea was really choppy and we got seasick. Chau couldn´t even do her baptism :(. Today we have been up to Corcovado even though it was a wee cloudy, then we took Chau to the airport and this afternoon Javi and me we have got 18 hours in a bus until Florianopolis ... more from there !!

hola a todos desde Rio !!

con sus montanhas exhuberantes de verde vegetacion y playas alucinantes la ´cidade maravilhosa´ ocupa uno de los sitios mas bonitos del planeta !! Los cariocas son gente sensual y de espiritu libre, con un amor por la samba y la celebracion en general !! Alli me encontre con mis amigos Chau y Javitron y nos quedamos en un hotel de lujo en Ipanema !! A cascarla todo !! La playa atrae a mogollon de gente muy diversa, que se mezclan y juegan a volley y futbol bajo los rayos tropicales. La unica cosa que mucha gente no sabe es que en Rio no siempre hace sol !!! Vaya tela.
Muy divertido volver a encontrarse con Javi y la Chau !! el dia que llegamos nos vimos fuimos a pasear por las playas en plan tranquilo !! Al dia siguiente empezo a llover y nos fuimos a la ciudad imperial de Petropolis (el primer emperador del Brasil vivia alli. Alli visitamos el museo imperial y nos dimos un paseo por esa bonita ciudad). Despues de Petropolis regresamos a Rio y nos dimos una vuelta por el centro y subimos al Pao de Açucar !! Unas vistas alucinantes !! Desde alli Rio es clarisimamente la ciudad mas bonita del mundo !! Como el Javitron y la Chau querian ir a la playa, nos fuimos a Buzios, y nos quedamos en una pousada de lujo !! Fuimos a tomar el sol y nadar a playas preciosas !! Tambien hicimos buceo, pero el mar estaba tan picado que nos mareamos !! yo solo hice una inmersion y la Chau no pudo ni hacer su bautismo :( !! Vaya tela !! Hoy hemos subido al Corcovado, aunque estaba un poco nublado, y luego hemos llevado a la Chau al aeropuerto, que se va para Iguazu, y esta tarde el Javitron y yo nos chupamos un autobus de 18 horas hasta Florianopolis .... mas desde alli !!
