Western Cape, South Africa

hi,

this is what I've done in Western Cape:

15/6. Went to Boschendal winery in Franschoek. Really cool wine tasting. I have no idea at all, but because I was spanish they thought I knew !! The landscape was just amazing, not the idea I had of South Africa at all. Many wineries and farms, surrounded by big and spectacular mountains. I bought a 'Jean Le Long Sauvignon blanc 2005'. Beautiful. In the evening there was a bbq in my cool hotel with free beer. Not bad !!

16/6. When I got to the car I found it open with the glove compartment wide open and my bottle of wine missing !! they've nicked it, damn !! Anyway, left Cape Town and went to Hermanus a pretty village by the sea. I stayed in a dorm to save some Rand !! it's full of white people and again you wouldn't say this is Africa, so getting the hell out of here asap !! Saw some dolphins and a whale !! Awesome !!

17/6. Prince Albert, the Karoo. There's something almost magical about the vast and arid Karoo. Wide-open spaces make you feel so tiny, towns make you feel you've been suspended in time. It's a place in the middle of nowhere, where life moves slowly. Black and whites again do not mix, 900 whites and 4000 blacks living in different parts of the small town. Went for a walk and to see the sunset with Dick, the 60 year old owner of my B&B. Very cool place.

18/6. So cool that stayed one more night !! Went rock climbing to probably somewhere has never been before (because it was the wrong pass) !! chilling out in this amazing place.

19/6. On my way to Addo National park, stopped today in a small city Plattenberg Bay, simply to go running in the beach and chill out.

15/6. Fui a los vinyedos Boschendal, en Franschoek. Es un sitio con mucho renombre aqui y hice una cata de vinos !! No tengo ni puta idea de vinos, pero como vengo de cerca del Penedes se pensaban que sabia mogollon y me preguntaban cosas ... pffff. El paisaje es alucinante, no la idea que tenia de Surafrica !! Muchos vinyedos y granjas, rodeados de montanyas espectaculares !! Eran las 11 de la manyana y me tuve que dar un paseo para que se me pasara la bolinga. Me compre un 'Jean Le Long Sauvignon blanc 2005'. Buenisimo. Por la noche hubo una barbacoa en mi hotel con cerveza gratis. No estuvo nada mal !!

16/6. cuando fui a buscar el coche por la manyana, me lo encontre abierto, con la guantera abierta y mi vino habia desaparecido !! Me habian robado, hijosdeputa !! bueno, es solo el vino, pero tela marinera. Ahora siempre dejo la guantera abierta !! Bueno, me fui para Hermanus, un pueblecito de la costa donde se pueden ver ballenas que pasan aqui el invierno. Me quede en un dormitorio para ahorrarme unos Rand ... Esta tan lleno de genta blanca rica que solo me quede unas horas y me fui pronto por la manyana !! Antes vi delfines y alguna ballena !! alucinante !!

17/6. Prince Albert, the Karoo. Hay algo casi magico en el vasto y arido Karoo. Amplios espacios abiertos desiertos te hacen sentir muy pequenyo. En las minusculas ciudades parece que el tiempo se haya detenido. Asi es Prince Albert, un pueblo en el medio del desierto donde la vida pasa despacio. Los blancos y los negros no se mezclan aqui tampoco, 900 blancos y 4000 negros viven separados. Fui a correr y luego a ver la puesta de sol con Dick, el propietario de mi B&B. Muy interesante hablar !!

18/6. Se esta tan bien aqui que me quede una noche mas !! subi una montanya por una parte que seguramente nadie ha pasado, pq no era el camino correcto !! pfff. Estuvo muy bien, me pase la tarde haciendo deporte y relajandome. Ah, y viendo el futbol en mi habitacion !!

19/6. De camino a Addo National park, he parado hoy en una pequenya ciudad costera que se llama Plattenberg Bay. Simplemente me he quedado en un buen B&B y he ido a correr por la playa en plan capitan !!
