Buenos Aires & Puerto Iguazu, Argentina

hi all again,

very cool do meet up my mates again !! went out clubbing a couple of nights in trendy Palermo Hollywood with Euge and some of her friends. Awesome fun !! this really feels like being on holidays !! During the days we just chilled and visited the usual suspects .... again !! One night we went to see a funny tango-milonga show, where everybody was dancing but us !! very interesting nonetheless !!
After Buenos Aires we took off to Puerto Iguazu. Visited both the argentinian and brazilian sites of the falls, and decided that the argentinian was much better !! even took a boat trip where we got completely soaked !!

hola otra vez !!

espectacular (que dicen aqui) volverse a encontrar con mis tres amigos Lluis, Marc y Jaume aqui en Buenos Aires !! nos fuimos de copas a varios boliches del trendy Palermo Hollywood con Euge y unos amigos suyos !! muy molon !! esto es realmente como estar de vacaciones !! durante el dia nos la pasamos simplemente paseando y visitando los barrios mas tipicos, ya es la tercera vez para mi !! vaya tela !! La ultima noche alli nos fuimos a un sitio donde bailaban tango-milonga y estaba lleno de gente superpro y nosotros alli haciendo el canelo mirando !! pero muy interesante !!
Despues de BsAs nos fuimos a Puerto Iguazu. Visitamos los dos lados de las cataratas, el brasileño y el argentino, y todos coincidimos en que es increible, y el argentino es bastante mejor !! inclusive nos agarramos un bote de los que pasan cerca del agua y nos chipiamos, pero increible !!

Viedma, Puerto Madryn, Argentina

this is what we've been up to these last days:

Viedma: Javi and me crossed La Pampa to get to Patagonia, to this little old town sister to Carmen de Patagones (across Rio Negro, with picturesque cobbled streets and many colonial buildings). Pretty cool to be there coz we were the only tourists in town !!

Puerto Madryn: tourist destination thanks to nearby sanctuary Peninsula Valdes. The peninsula is a wildlife wonderland where one can easily see sea lions, elephant seals, guanacos and whales !! It was just awesome to see whales to close !! No words can be used to describe it, just breathtaking !! That afternoon we met Natalia with superglobal coordination and went out for some drinks (it was great fun !!). Yesterday set off again to Buenos Aires to meet the boys, Marc, Lluis and Jaume to celebrate Marc's 30th !!! that should be good .... !!!

esto es lo que hemos estado haciendo estos ultimos dias:

Viedma: el Javitron y yo cruzamos La Pampa hasta llegar de nuevo a Patagonia, a esta pequeña ciudad al otro lado de Carmen de Patagones (solo hay que cruzar el Rio Negro para llegar a este pueblo pintoresco, con calles adoquinadas bien empinadas y varios edificios coloniales muy interesantes). Estuvo rechevere estar alli pq eramos los unicos turistas en la ciudad !!

Puerto Madryn: es un destino superturistico gracias al santuario Peninsula Valdes, que esta a tiro de piedra de alli. La peninsula es un paraiso para los amantes de los animales. Se pueden ver a montones leones marinos, elefantes marinos, guanacos y ballenas !! Esto ultimo fue clarisimamente lo mejor, poderlas ver tan cerca es alucinante y no hay palabras para describir lo que uno siente !! Por la tarde nos juntamos con Natalia en una supercoordinacion global y nos fuimos a cenar y a tomar unas copas !! al dia siguente me vine otra vez para Buenos Aires, pq esta noche llegan Marc, Lluis y Jaume para celebrar los 30 tacos de markieboy !!! Ya contare como va todo ...

Buenos Aires, Argentina

hi all !!

been chilling out and strolling around this beautiful city on a couple of glorious sunny days !! Even took a tango lesson !! Excellent fun to dance as well as a sociologic experience !! Awesome !! Also did a one day trip to La Plata and that night went to an amazing tango show at legendary Cafe Tortoni !! Highly recommendable !! In the evenings we took it easy and had diners in trendy Palermo Soh !! Debi has already flown to NZ and I am sad to see her go. After she left I've been chilling out with Javi and his cool family, Chiqui, Raul, Gemma and Sergio. Last sunday we went to the Mataderos to a gaucho market !!

hola a todos !!

estos ultimos dias estuvimos relajandonos y paseando en esta maravillosa ciudad bajo un sol estupendo primaveral !! Estuvo barbaro e incluso tomamos una clase de tango !! Al principio no queria ir ... pero acabo siendo superchevere, tanto el baile como desde un punto de vista sociologico !! Increible !! Tambien nos dimos un dia un paseo por la ciudad de La Plata y esa misma noche tuvimos tambien tiempo de ver un espectaculo de tango en el legendario Cafe Tortoni !! Altamente recomendable !! Por las noches la pasamos tranquilamente cenando en el trendy Palermo Soho. Debi ya se ha ido a Nueva Zelanda y me da pena verla marchar. Despues de quedarme solo, me uni al Javitron y su estupenda familia, Chiqui, Raul, Gemma y Sergio. El pasado domingo fuimos al barrio de Mataderos a una feria gaucha !!

El Chalten & El Calafate, Argentina

hi all,

after disembarking in Puerto Natales we walked around in this little welcoming city port and we decided to go to Argentina !! Got to El Calafate where we met Javi and Chiqui !! Really cool to see him after we said 'see you later' in Cambodia 6 months ago !! that evening we had diner with them and their cousin Raul & his girlfriend Gemma, great fun !! The following day hired a car and visited el Glaciar Perito Moreno !! it's one of the most active icefields on Earth, and we actually saw it moving !! awesome !! Then we set off to El Chalten, one of the most gorgeous mountain scenery in the world !! from the car we saw the extraordinary snow-caped towers of the Fitz Roy range!! The following day Dj and me we did an amazing 8 hour trek to the base of the Fitz Roy, to Lago de los Tres, simply amazing !! Then, as we found a good deal to go to Buenos Aires ... off we went !!

despues de desembarcar en Puerto Natales caminamos un poco por este pueblecito acogedor y decidimos agarrar un omnibus hacia Argentina !! Cuando llegamos a El Calafate, el Javitron y Chiqui nos estaban esperando !! Fue muy especial volver a ver a Chiqui despues de que nos dijeramos 'hasta luego' hace ya 6 meses en Siam Reap, Cambodia !! Ese dia fuimos a cenar con ellos y Raul y Gemma, y estuvo superchevere !! Al dia siguiente alquilamos un carro y visitamos el Glaciar Perito Moreno, uno de mas activos glaciares de la Tierra !! Espectacular !! Despues nos dirigimos a El Chalten, uno de los paisajes montañosos mas bonitos del mundo !! Desde el coche vimos ya las fabulosas torres nevadas del Fitz Roy !! Al dia siguiente Dj y yo hicimos un duro trek de 8 horas hasta la base del mismo Fitz Roy, al lago de los Tres, unas vistas alucinantes !! Como encontramos una oferta para ir a Buenos Aires ... pues para aca vinimos !!
